Last night was Russ' night off so he got to sleep a normal night at home with me, since he works the graveyard shift we're always grateful for this, as it doesn't happen often. We put the kids to bed, watched a little TV and went to sleep... alone, but that's not how we woke up. We woke up surrounded.
A king size bed in theory, should be large enough for anyone, but I'm pretty sure there is not a bed out there large enough to comfortably accommodate two adults, three kids, a dog and a cat.
It's not my favorite way to wake up but I'll try to enjoy it because I'm sure that someday I'll miss it.

It's hard to ever imagine missing a wiggly child on top of your head, but I think you're right; one day we will miss it.
ReplyDeleteKids! Seriously! On Saturdays when Brad is home in the mornings, Kassi won't leave us alone. But you're right. Time flies by too fast. We should enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteSo true. I still remember that comment you made in RS years ago about your grandmother saying she missed cleaning little fingerprints off the glass door. Those silly, tender things are what make your family you. You gotta love it, baby!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet is that! All of your babies together, what a great way to wake up! You have a beautiful family. xoxo
