Ryler is getting older now so I've started giving him a bit more freedom. Yesterday afternoon I let him go outside to play with Taevin while I peeked out the window every few minutes to check on him. I had gone into the kitchen to start dinner when Taevin came running into the house yelling "MOM, RYLER TOOK HIS PANTS OFF!" I hurried outside to find that sure enough, Ryler had stripped off not just his pants, but his shirt, underwear, and shoes as well and was running around the playground laughing. Oh, and just a side note, it was only about 30 degrees yesterday. Shocked and appalled, I yelled at him to get inside as I grabbed his clothes and ran in after him hoping that nobody had seen this horrific act of lewdness. Needless to say, he was inside for the remainder of the day. You've got to be kidding me!
Sometimes life throws you a curve ball, and it usually happens just when you think you've got things figured out. Way back when I was praying about having a third child, the number 4 kept coming to me. I laughed and told God that He would need to send twins to get Russ to agree to that number, so part of me was a little apprehensive going into our first ultrasound with Z, but alas there was only one of her so I kind of forgot about the number and moved forward... until that day when the number came back. Zoey wasn't even a year yet and the feeling came, there was one more. He gave me 3 months to get pregnant, if it didn't happen he would get his vasectomy.
